Modular package transformer substations BKTP

Outdoor modular package transformer substations (BKTP-NU) are designed as an outdoor single-transformer or double-transformer modular substation in concrete housing.
Outdoor modular package transformer substations (BKTP-NU) are intended for application in power supply systems for residential, municipal and industrial facilities. Substations consist of individual concrete modules - containers where the following electrical equipment is installed:
1. high-voltage switchgear (RUVN), 6 kV or 10 kV, the assembly is based on factory-assembled switchgear cells of one-sided maintenance KSOswitchgear cells);
2. low-voltage switchgear (RUNN), 0.4 kV, the assembly is based on electrical panels (SCHO-70);
3. power transformers TM, TMG, TMZ, TSZ, TSZN.

The modular integrated transformer substation (BKTP) in concrete housing is designed to receive, convert and distribute electric power in stationary three-phase alternating current electrical installations, with frequency of 50 Hz and HV voltage of 6 kV or 10 kV, LV voltage of 0.4 kV, with capacity range of 100 kVA 160 kVA 250 kVA 400 kVA 630 kVA 1000 kVA 1000 kW 1250 kW 1600 kVA 2500 kVA.
Modular substations (BKTP) provide electricity to industrial, rural, urban, municipal, and utility facilities as well as to single-family country-side residential developments and detached housing developments.

Modular package transformer substations BKTP: design, dimensions, and architectural solutions for construction
Ready-to operate modular transformer substations (BKTP and 2BKTP) are made of reinforced concrete; they have a rectangular form and are offered in the following dimensions:
The single-transformer modular substation (BKTP): - 5270*2250*2205;
The double-transformer modular substation (2BKTP): - 5270*4500*2205.
One section of the modular package transformer substation consists of a ready-to-operate packaged concrete unit, underground cable-space module and installed oil-receiver.
The building of the modular substation consists of two compartments. One compartment houses a power transformer (type TMG) with capacities ranging from 100 kW 160 kVA 250 kW 400 kVA 630 kW 400 kVA 630 kW 1000 kVA 1250 kW 1600 kVA to 2500 kVA; the other compartment houses high-voltage and low-voltage equipment in accordance with the diagram. There are penetrations in the floor so that cables could be connected to electrical equipment of the modular substation. Metal shutter grates ensure temperature adjustment in the transformer compartment.
The doors and gates of the modular substation are designed as safe-type, thus, ensuring reliable and easy maintenance. The wall thickness ranges from 60 to 120 mm. The roof is made
of metal tile.
Configuration and equipment of modular package transformer substations (BKTP)
The equipment on the high-voltage side is most reliable in operation, including RM6 Schneider Electric switchgear, making it possible to choose any connection diagram.
Function selection:
The RM6 series offers the RM6 choice for 1, 2, 3 or 4 connections with no expansion.
The equipment provides for possibility to choose the protection type for the transformer:
with a load-break switch completed with safety fuses, a 200 А switch.
If required, protection of line connections can be provided with a 630 А switch.
The RM6 version incorporates most of these functions, providing the possibility for G or T-type expansion for further upgrading of the substation or extension of the network.
The modular substation (BKTP) also can be equipped with installed factory-made high-voltage cells of the KSO (single-end service assembled chamber) type.
On the low-voltage side, modular substations have factory-made electrical panels or electrical distribution panels (type SCHO-70 or VRU), giving an opportunity to meet all requirements of the customer as well as to reduce the cost of modular substations and production time due to the availability of KSO switchgear cells and electrical panels (SCHO-70) in stock.
The low-voltage side is based on monoblocks from foreign manufacturers:
Low-voltage assembly for distribution networks; TUR monoblock type undersized dimensions
Design of the TUR monoblock for modular substations (BKTP):
The assembly of modular substations includes fuses similar to the safety fuse PN-2 (domestic production) with vertically arranged phases of one connection. The overall view is given in the picture.
The TUR monoblock consists of the following basic assembly units:
ISERE-type local circuit breaker, metal supporting framework, which serves for mounting of bus bars and outgoing monoblocks (feeders) that are fixed to the framework with epoxy insulators.
To make operations with the low-voltage TUR-type assembly easier, the tool kit includes additional accessories that not only make assembly operations easy and user-friendly, but also ensure complete safety to operating personnel.
The delivery kit includes plastic handles for fuses to insert (remove) safety fuses into holders and an insulated wrench to mount monoblocks (feeders) onto bus bars.
Electricity metering and measuring are performed through:
- Voltmeter with the switch at the low-voltage entrance.
- Ammeters and current transformers.
- Active and reactive-energy meter.
- Other devices at the customer's request.
- Auxiliary switchboard.
Main advantages of modular package transformer substations (BKTP):
- Turnkey manufacturing of modular substations.
- High reliability of the electrical equipment.
- Simple design and user-friendly assembly.
- Flexible application of wide range of transformers (TMG, TM, TSZ, TMZ) in modular substations.
- State-of-the art styling design and exterior finishing of modular substations.
- Service life of modular substations manufactured by UZTT is minimum 25 years.
