Indoor substations (KTP, 2KTP) are assembled from factory-assembled switchgear cells of one-sided maintenance (KSO switchgear cells)SCHO 70) or cabinets for transformer substations (TP):
SHVV - high-voltage entrance (entrance cabinets for 0.4 kV);
SHNV, SHNL, SHNS - low-voltage side.

Indoor package built-in shop-floor, dual-beam transformer substations.
Industrial indoor (shop-floor) package transformer substations (KTPP) are designed to receive, convert and distribute electric power in stationary electrical installations with three-phase alternating current with 50 Hz frequency, with voltage of 6/0.4 - 10/0.4 kV and the capacity range of 100 kVA 160 kW 250 kVA 400 kW 630 kVA 1000 kW 1250 kVA 1600 kW 2500 kVA. The substations are intended for operation in temperate and cold climates (UHLZ-type); they have placement category II according to GOST 15150-69. These transformer substations are designed as an assembly of high-voltage cabinets (KSO switchgear cells, SHVV high-voltage entrance cabinets), power transformers (TMZ/TMG) and low-voltage cabinets (SCHO-70 electrical panels, SHNV low-voltage entrance cabinets, SHNL low-voltage line cabinets, SHNS low-voltage bay cabinets). Dimensions of low-voltage cabinets are 2200 х 600 х 950 or 2365 х 800 х 1350, depending on application (indoor transformer substations, physical configuration).
Automatic devices of the package substations are intended to:
a) protect disconnecting (service, standby) and bus tie switches;
b) switch automatically reserve for the transformer substation - the design includes application of protective functions of automatic circuit breakers and functions of emergency control automatics as well as control and alarm functions; the design is based on Mitsubishi programmable controllers. The design of the cabinets provides for installation of complete set of electrical equipment and devices as well as control, protection, automatics and alarm devices in accordance with the diagrams built by order of design companies or in accordance with diagrams provided by the manufacturer.
Our package transformer substations intended for indoor installation (built-in transformer substations, shop-floor substations, distribution transformer substations) include the following types of protection:
* overload protection, definite or inverse, with single time differential;
* definite time over-current protection with provision for immobilization during starting up or self-starting of electrical motors;
* definite time current protection (3I) with two time lags;
* two-step backup protection, 0.4 kV, that becomes effective in case of malfunction of protection devices or switches of outgoing lines;
* automatic circuit breakers with over-current release devices that have controlled overload protection and controlled non-selective shut-down.
* the package transformer substation provides the possibility to manage and transfer information, build configurations, set parameters for protection and automatic devices from the central automatic control panel.

- What is difference between the package transformer substation and the transformer substation?
- The principal difference is that transformer substations have their high-voltage bay in an individual locked compartment, conductive parts are accessible, low-voltage bay is in another section, the transformer is in the transformer bay.
The package transformer substation has high-voltage, low-voltage and a transformer in one housing; conductive parts are not accessible. Types of configuration are different: indoor, outdoor, pole-mounted, kiosk-type, etc.
