Application:
The switchgear cells are designed for operation in electrical alternating current three-phase units, with 50 and 60 Hz frequency, 6 kV and 10 kV voltage, used for systems with insulated neutral or neutral earthed via arc suppression coil.
The switchgear cells are manufactured for different sectors of economy. Such cells are used in switchgear devices for receiving and distribution of electrical power. The operation is determined by the pattern of primary and auxiliary circuits of switchgear cells. The cells are suitable for use in temperate climates; placement category 3 according to GOST 15150.

The UZTT factory has its own facilities to manufacture high-voltage switchgears and factory-assembled switchgear cells of one-sided maintenance (KSO switchgear cells); it specializes in low and high voltage equipment for power supply systems for industrial facilities, civil construction, agriculture, oil and gas industry, mining industry; it manufactures the following types of cells:
Cells consist of welded metal structure composed of cold-formed steel sheets. Devices and buses for primary circuits are installed inside KSO switchgear cells; the façade side has controls actuated by a load-break switch (VNR: VNA, VNB) and a disconnecting switch (indoor DS with grounding blades or indoor DS with molded insulating bushings and with grounding blades).
Switchgear cells KSO-205 (similar to KSO-285, 292, and 299) are designed for operation in electrical three-phase ac installations with 50 Hz frequency and insulated neutral or neutral earthed via arc suppression coil, with rated voltage 6 and 10 kV.
Standard operating conditions:
- altitude - max 1000 m
- ambient temperature from -40 to +40 С
- relative humidity - max 70%
- in dry heated and unheated enclosed premises; non-explosive environment free of current-conducting dust, aggressive gases or vapors affecting operation of the device
- operating attitude of KSO switchgear cells - vertical; 5 degree tolerance in either direction is allowed.

KSO switchgear cells are made using:
- diagrams of primary circuits (primary connections);
- diagrams of auxiliary circuits.
Depending on a primary circuit, the cell can be equipped with:
- Oil and vacuum circuit-breakers (VPMP, VMPE, VMG, BB/TEL; VVTE and others) for 630, 1000 А;
- Indoor disconnecting switches for 630, 1000 А with drives (PR-10);
- Disconnecting switches (indoor DS with grounding blades or indoor DS with molded insulating bushings and with grounding blades) for 630, 1000 А with drives (PR-10);
- Current transformers (type TOL-10, TPOL-10) for 50 , 75, 100, 150, 200, 300, 400, 600, 800, 1000 А;
- Voltage transformers (type NOM, NAMI, 3х3NOL);
- Fuses (type PKT6, PKT10, PKN6, PKN10);
- Surge protection devices (type SPD-10, SPD-6);
- Power transformers (TSKS-40, TM-25, TM-40);
- Valve arresters (RVRD-6U1, RVRD-10U1, RVO-6, and RVO-10).
Application of KSO switchgear cells; basic parameters of factory-assembled KSO switchgear cells, Series 300
Switchgear cells KSO -305, with 6-10 kV voltage, are designed for three-phase ac 50 Hz distribution devices of systems with insulated neutral. These cells are installed in enclosed premises of transformer substations and in equipment rooms, and are cells of one-side maintenance. They are fixed to each other with bolts. Cells are based on primary connection circuits. They are equipped with load-break switches (VNP-M1-10 or VNA-10) with drives (PR-10 or PR-17), disconnecting switches (indoor DS with grounding blades), valve arresters and other high-voltage devices, depending on the circuit.
In their relative position, KSO switchgear cells of Series 300 are made as single-row or double-row cells. In addition to packaged devices, the order can include end plates and, in case of double-row cells, busbar bridges.
Packaged switchgears assembled from 300-series cells are distinguished by smaller dimensions, amount of metal and weight.
