Pole-mounted package transformer substations with the capacity range of 1.25 kVA 2.5 kW 4 kVA 6 kW 10 kVA 25 kW 40 kVA 63 kW 100 kVA are designed to receive three-phase ac electric power with 50 Hz industrial frequency, with 10 kV or6 kV voltage, to convert it into electric power with 0.4 kV (380 V) or 0.23 kV (220 V) voltage and distribute it to consumers.
Pole-mounted package transformer substations - KTP-VS (agricultural) - are used to supply electric power to cottages, industrial, agricultural and utility facilities within loop or radial systems of distribution networks.
Description of package transformer substations - KTP-VS:
Pole-mounted package transformer substations (KTP-VS) do not have common outer shell. Each compartment of the substation is mounted on a special-purpose frame on a power line pole.
Pole-mounted transformer substations (KTP-VS) are mounted on a concrete pad (SV-105 type). The transformer bracket takes most of the load in the substation; therefore, it is made of profiled rolled steel with high safety margin. The HV entrance has a bracket for 6 kV - 10 kV arresters (RVO type) or surge protection devices (SPD-6kV or SPD-10kV), and for the outdoor line disconnecting switch (type RLND, comes with the KTP-VS substation at customers' request). Pole-mounted substations are provided with a detailed manual for installation and operation, and are delivered in special packaging on a welded pallet. All the components are safely secured and protected against damage, provided that the applicable transportation requirements are met. The pallet with the packaged substation can be transported in a 5-ton container by railway transport or without a container by automobile transport.
Pole-mounted package substations (KTP-VS) are delivered as a packaged low-voltage switchgear cabinet and together with structural steel to be mounted on a concrete pad (for the transformer, low-voltage switchgear box, fuses, disconnecting switch, arresters); spare parts accessories include fuses and arresters. The pole-mounted substation (MOKTP): 4, 6, 10 kVA capacity; automatic circuit-breaker - AP (AE) 50 - on the outgoing line, general-purpose industrial configuration, is mounted on concrete and wood anchor supports of transmission lines with 6 (10) kV voltage. Pole-mounted transformer substations are delivered with transformers having capacity ranging from 4 kV, 6 kVA, to 10 kVA, OMP type. The pole-mounted transformer substation is designed to receive, convert and distribute three-phase ac 50 Hz electric power, 0.23 kV (220V) voltage, to supply electricity to one-phase consumers.
