Railroad package transformer substation MTPZH
Transformer substations are single-transformer outdoor substations that are used for receiving electric power of alternating current with 6 (10) or 27.5 kV voltage, converting it into electric power with 0.4 (0.23) kV voltage to serve the needs and provide protection to power consumers of railway facilities (switching tracks, signaling systems, automatic blocking systems, etc.) located in the moderate climatic zones (from minus 45o С to +40о С). Transformer substations for railway consumers are offered in the following configurations:
- Mast-mounted railroad transformer substations (MTPZH). These substations are offered with the capacity range amounting to 1.25 kVA, 2.5 kVA, 4 kVA , 6 kVA, 10 kVA at voltage equal to 6/0.23 kV or 10/0.23 kV and 27.5/0.23 kV, and are used to provide electric power to signaling systems, interlocking boxes, automatic blocking systems, lighting systems and other low-capacity railway consumers. As all the equipment is mounted on the supporting pole, access of people (except for maintenance staff) is limited.
Pedestal-mounted railroad transformer substations (type KTPZH). These substations are offered with the capacity range amounting to 25 kVA, 40 kW, 63 kVA, 100 kW, 160 kVA, 250 kW, 400 kVA, 630 kVA, and are used to supply electricity to switching tracks, flag stations, railway crossings, railway buildings, i.e. to intensive electric power consumers. Thanks to the pedestal-mounted design, there is no need in arrangement of special sites and concrete foundations. The substation has high-voltage air lead-in; outgoing lines are of cable type. The transformer substation is connected to the power transmission line through the disconnecting switch (delivered with the substation) and is mounted on the nearest support. Regardless of their configuration, all substations:
- have electrical and mechanical interlocking (the full set) that ensures safe operation for maintenance personnel;
- have automatic circuit-breakers installed on outgoing lines instead of fuse cutout switches;
- have active energy meters. At the customer's request, the substation can be equipped with a reactive-energy meter as well as meters of any modification (combined, electronic, etc.).
- have protection for all the installed equipment against lightning surge, overloads and short circuit;
- are safe for environment;
- are easy to assemble and start up as well as to disassemble if required;
- have attractive exterior design;
- are equipped with state-of-the-art hermetically sealed transformers (TMG type).
Mast-mounted railroad package one-phase transformer substations (MTPZH) with the capacity range of 1.25; 2.5; 4; 6; 10 kVA are used to receive electric power with voltage of 6; 10; 27.5 kV, transform it into electric power with voltage of 0.23 kV and distribute it to railway facilities: signaling systems, interlocking boxes, automatic blocking systems, lighting systems and other low-capacity railway facilities located in temperate climatic areas (from minus 45°С to +40°С). Package transformer substations (MTPZH) are single-transformer outdoor substations with power supply from longitudinal power lines based on the conductor-rail principle. The equipment can be arranged in two configurations:1. All the equipment is mounted on one 27.5 (6, 10) kV transmission line pole;
2. All the equipment (except for the disconnecting switch) is mounted in one pole, the disconnecting switch is located on the nearest 27.5 (6, 10) kV transmission line pole (separately).
Package transformer substations (MTPZH) are offered with one or two outgoing lines at the request.

RAILROAD PACKAGE TRANSFORMER SUBSTATIONS (KTPZH) to meet railway needs
The package three-phase transformer substation (KTPZH) with the capacity range of 25;40;63;100; 160; 250; 400; 630 kVA and with voltage of 27.5 / 0.4 kV
- Substations with the capacity range of 100 160 250 400 kVA are equipped with active and reactive energy meters; railroad substations with the capacity range of 25 40 63 kVA are equipped only with active-energy meters. The outgoing lines of railroad substations have stationary automatic circuit-breakers.
They are designed as three-phase substations with 27.5 / 0.4 kV voltage operating under the two conductors - rail principle.

The UZTT Company provides all-inclusive operations in design, manufacturing and installation of package transformers substations, relieving customers of the trouble of looking for, choosing and trying to achieve reconciliation between different design, manufacturing and installation companies, thus, helping its customers to decrease total project costs.
