Transformer, Type OL
Transformers, type OL, are used to transmit power to automatic blocking circuits from overhead lines and longitudinal power lines of railroad power supply systems. The OL-type transformer is recommended for application at railway sections as a step-down transformer.
OL-type transformer design:
The transformer is designed as single-phase and double-winding; it is a monolithic unit with built-in windings and magnetic core.
The magnetic core is shell-type, E-shaped, split; is wound from cold-rolled electrical steel. Windings are arranged concentrically.
The support surface of the transformer has four grommets with thread M10 to secure the transformer.
Transformers are designed for temperate/cold and tropical climates; placement category 1 in compliance with GOST 15150; they are designed for outdoor operation in the following conditions:
- operating ambient temperature: from minus 60°С to plus 50°С for temperate/cold climates and from minus 10°С to plus 55°С for tropical climates.
Leakage distance III in compliance with GOST 9920-89.
