Single-phase oil-cooled power transformers, type OM

Step-down single-phase oil-cooled power transformers, type OM, are used to convert electrical energy with 6 kV or 10 kV voltage and provide
power to electrical equipment of railroad signaling and blocking systems and other consumers with voltage of 220V. Single-phase oil-cooled OM-type transformers, with off-load tap changing, are connected with the 50 Hz ac mains and are used to supply power to cathode protection modular packaged units in supply mains, to decrease voltage in power system networks and to supply power to other electrical energy consumers located in temperate climates (from -45° C to +40° С).
Transformers, type OM-0.63/6; ОМ-0.63/10; ОМ-1.25/6; ОМ-1.25/10; ОМ-2.5/6; ОМ-2.5/10, are single-phase oil-cooled transformers that are offered in two options: without voltage regulation and with tapping on the LV side.
Transformers are designed for indoor and outdoor installation.

Transformers allow for voltage regulation: - type OM - 5 steps with the regulation range ± 2х2.5% of the rated value; - type OMP - 4 steps with the regulation range +5, -5, -10% of the rated value. The type of regulation is off-load tap changing. The range switch-over is performed manually in the off position.
Transformers are designed for outdoor and indoor installation in the following conditions:

Operating mode - extended. Ambient temperature as per GOST 15150 and GOST 15543.1- from -45ºС to + 40ºС.
Non-explosive environment free of hazardous concentrations of dust that may cause deterioration of operating characteristics. Ensure that the operation of TM-family transformers is not adversely impacted by shaking or vibrations or chemically aggressive environment. Altitude: max 1000 m. Daily mean temperature: max 30 °C; annual mean temperature: max 20 °C.
Differences between supply voltage and rated voltage, voltage curve, frequency tolerances must comply with the requirements set in GOST 13109.

Transformers are equipped with the oil-level indicator, air dehumidifier with hydraulic lock. Transformers of OM type have enhanced electrical strength of insulation due to high vacuum that is applied when transformers are filled with oil and that ensures complete removal of air from windings and insulation parts of the active section.
