Mobile package transformer substations PKTP
Mobile mining package transformer substations (PKTP) are used to supply ac electricity to portable current collectors for surface coal mines, ore and other mines and open pits with open-cast mining operations as well as to construction sites; they can be used to supply electricity to underground mine consumers through pit-holes and boreholes as well as to serve temporary facilities.

Mobile PKTP-type transformer substations can be equipped both with oil-cooled transformers (TMZ, TMG) and dry-type transformers (TSZ). These substations are designed to supply ac electric power to portable current collectors used for coal, ore and other mines and open pits with open-cast mining operations as well as to construction sites; they can be used to supply electricity to underground mine consumers through pit-holes and boreholes as well as to serve other site facilities. Electric substations have protection through automatic current-limiting circuit-breakers with electromagnetic, solid-state, and zero voltage releases. Substations are also equipped with a leakage-current protection device - standardized mining AZUR-3, AZUR-1, AZUR-2 relay (previously AZAK relay and UAKI relay were used) - to protect people from electric shock and other hazards that may result from earth leakage current. Disconnecting switches (RVZ and RVFZ type) have mechanical interlocking with grounding blades. The mobile substation has the following interlock functions: Switching of grounding blades when the disconnecting switch is on.

Opening of the door of the fuse compartment when grounding blades are off.
Mobile transformer substations with the capacity range of 25 kW, 40 kVA, 63 kW, 100 kVA are designed to supply electric power to lighting mains and systems for mines.
Mobile transformer substations are offered in the configuration suitable for temperate climates and have placement category 1 in compliance with GOST 15150.
Mobile package transformer substations (PKTP-type) are made both with solid-earthed and with insulated neutral.
