Three-phase oil-cooled transformers, type TMPN (TMPNG)
Three-phase oil-cooled transformers, type TMPN (TMPNG) with natural oil cooling, are used to transmit power to submersible electric oil pumps.
Transformers can operate in temperate climates at temperature ranging from -45С to +40С and cold climates at temperature ranging from -60С to +40С.
Double-winding transformers, type TMPN (G), voltage rating up to 3 kV: supply line voltage - 380 V.

Specific features of the TMPN (TMPNG) transformer design.
The tanks of the hermetically sealed TMPNG transformers have rectangular shape; they have corrugated walls without oil conservator. The tank and transformer assemble is lifted by using hooks located under the upper frame of the tank. The tank lid has a plug for filling oil; at the tank bottom there is a plug for oil drainage; a plug for sampling; and a grounding bolt.
To monitor the oil level, transformers are equipped with the oil-level float indicator located on the lid of the tank; to check the temperature of the oil upper layer, the tank is equipped with a thermometer.
The volumetric expansion of oil depending on the transformer temperature is offset by pressure changing inside the tank due to changing of the configuration and corrugated walls.
In hermetically sealed transformers, type TMPNG, oil does not come in contact with air and does not oxidize. Transformers do not require additional expenses at commissioning and do not require preventive repair and inspections during the entire life of their service.
Transformers, type TMPN, can be made with radiator tanks and an oil conservator.
The transformer design allows for a cable voltage input and output; it ensures reliable connection of cables without any need for sweating thimbles.
HV and LV input are protected with a box. To make their movement easier, transformers are equipped with skid.
Transformer magnetic cores are laminated; they are of leg-type; the section of the legs and yoke is multiple-step. Legs are molded with glass binding tape. Transformer design allows for cold-rolled 0.3 mm thick electrical steel that has high magnetic conductivity and low specific losses at V = 1.7 T (1.26 W/kg or lower).
The supply line voltage is 380 V; diagrams and connection groups are Un/Un-0 type' frequency is 50 Hz.
Concentric cross-over windings are made of copper or aluminum insulated wire. Modular coiling. Tappings are made from the own wire or buses.
